Abstract
The article deals with the role of national customs and traditions in the formation of ethnopsychological features in the personality of children and teenagers and the views of young people on their national characteristics, spiritual and moral values, cultural traditions, customs and values, their preservation and transmission from generation to generation and the factors influencing the knowledge of national characteristics are described.
